Dementia Care

We provide professional, compassionate care to people who have Dementia, and understand the practical impact Dementia has on the individual and families. We provide a bespoke care package, working in partnership providing both practical and emotional support. Our Personal Assistants have specialised Dementia training and are Dementia friends supporting the Alzheimer’s Society initiative. We provide a sense of purpose by capturing a client’s history, understanding from your perspective and provide a personalised care plan with you at the heart of your care.

Medication Management

We can provide different levels of medication management, in the first instance we can support people to remain independent with their medication looking at different options, medication alarms, boxes and appliances to assist you. If you require further support our Personal Assistants can monitor, provide prompts for you or administer your medication as prescribed from your General Practitioner. We will complete a medication assessment with you and devise a medication management plan. On your behalf, our Personal Assistants can liaise with the Pharmacist and your GP.

Housekeeping

We provide a housekeeping service, providing support with light domestic duties such as hoovering, cleaning, ironing, laundry and shopping to your specification.

Finishing Touches

Your Diary

We can provide assistance to Hospital, Dental or any other appointments in your diary and wait with you, if required our Personal Assistants can manage your follow up appointments and correspond with the necessary people on your behalf. This provides practical support to families who are unable to schedule time off work to attend forthcoming appointments, and for people who may have no family support.

Advocacy

We can provide both emotional and practical support advocating on your behalf working within your best interest. We ensure that your voice is heard on issues that are important to you, always considering your views and wishes and protecting your rights.

As part of our Contact Counts campaign to alleviate loneliness and isolation, we can provide a telephone care service, this provides you with an option of scheduled calls from 30 minutes or 45 minutes telephone care calls. This unique personalised service is available nationwide and ensures that people receive contact, we can provide information on what is happening in your local community, and can form part of a welfare check. We can provide practical support, assisting you to take care of your pet with feeding, buying food, cleaning, walking and attending Veterinary appointments.

Keysafe Installation Service

We work with approved Engineers who install Keysafes, which is a secure box fitted outside your home, containing a set of keys to provide access to health professionals, staff or relatives if you are unable to answer the door. Following a consultation an appointment can be arranged with you to install your keysafe.
